Alfred Golden III
While flipping the pages of his grandmother’s past issues of Vogue designer Alfred C Golden III discovered his love for fashion and haute couture at the tender age of 10. Encouraged by her to create his own designs, he begins his journey into fashion design and later on begins formal studies at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago. Over the years he’s continued to cultivate his craft and love for detail preferring the use fine of fabrics and cutting techniques over embellishments.
In 2014, The goldenlabelstudio brand was born and Alfred launched his design studio in the Bridgeport Art Center. With a concentration in custom bridal and special occasion attire, Each piece is designed and realized in-house right here on Chicago’s south side.

Our Process
At goldenlabelstudio the design process begins with a consultation (a $50 non-refundable consultation fee will be applied to your deposit). We will sit down together and create the perfect look for your special day. While I am a designer and enjoy having creative freedom, my first job is to ensure that each client is completely connected to the vision that is created.
Next, fabrics, trimmings, and accessories will be sourced and verified, then purchased for the final design concept (a 50 percent deposit is due once final decision is made).

Typically, a design will require at least three fittings. However, that process is dependent upon the complexity of the design.
Once the vision is complete, you will walk out with your very own goldenlabelstudio bridal creation.
